Privacy and advertising
A plain-language explanation of the site’s advertising and privacy practices.
Optional advertising
U.S. Immigration Brief uses approved Adsterra banner and native-ad units. Advertising scripts load only after a visitor selects “Accept advertising.” Visitors who decline can access the same editorial content without those units loading.
Advertising technology
When permitted, Adsterra and its advertising partners may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, approximate location, ad impressions, clicks, and cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, secure, measure and improve advertisements. Their processing is governed by their own policies.
Editorial independence
Advertisements are labeled and separated from articles, government-source links and legal-information disclaimers. Advertisers do not review or control editorial coverage. An advertisement is not an endorsement, legal recommendation or government notice.
Your choice
Your advertising choice is stored in your browser. Clearing browser storage resets it. Essential site functions do not require acceptance of optional advertising.
External links
Government and advertising links lead to external websites with separate privacy practices. Review those policies before providing personal information.
Legal information, not legal advice. Nothing in this privacy notice or elsewhere on the site creates an attorney-client relationship.
